The Merchandise Mart asked us to use our brand marketing skills to make exhibitors the focus of their trade shows. Each year, we work with 500-plus exhibitors at nine shows held in Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. Our brand-centric approach allows us to think about each booth through the lens of buyer emotion, and to create unique spaces and experiences that increase opportunity. As a local company and the Mart’s only ‘one-stop shop’ for all exhibitor services, we’re boots-on-the-ground that make the trade show process easier so you can focus on your primary work - selling.

Convincing buyers a luxury tee-shirt was a sartorial necessity needed refashioning expectations. To expand horizons we upended conventional thought about trade show booths to reinforce Left Coast Tee’s creative chops while raising curiosity about its interpretation of an iconic product.

When you visit the Lee Allison Company’s loft, you’re immediately immersed in a space that is best defined as somewhere between steam punk and old-world luxury. The cool factor excites you to a level that you say to yourself that you’ve got to buy something. To evoke that emotion in buyers and tell them what makes Lee Allison’s accessories so appealing, we took the eclectic, quirky, bohemian chic sensibility of the loft on the road.

Using
Your
Assets

 

Bogner is a European brand steeped in ski. Not surprisingly Willy Bogner, whose father established the company, is a world-class skier like his father. But to our amazement, he’s also an accomplished cameraman. Once we learned that he had filmed some of the ski footage for the Bond movies, we had to find a way to highlight this as part of their brand story. Viola! We designed and built a custom video monitor surround with a cut-out in the shape of ski googles. The brand’s video content was already an attraction. The stage drew attention to it from far and wide.

Design

 

David Donahue knows the power of presentation. Their New York showroom is handsome and designed to function. Large surfaces to show product. Well-organized and accessible drawers for samples and swatches. Modular furniture that can be repurposed as needed. Our brief was to bring this distinction and effectiveness to their booth while adding efficiency and durability needed for furniture that’s always on the go. From fabrication to booth production to warehousing, our white-glove service allows the David Donahue team to focus on building relationships versus building fixtures.
